Milestone Moments: Celebrating Althea Southwick's 101st Birthday

On Tuesday, November 14th, Waterview Pointe joined a momentous celebration, as we had the privilege of honoring Althea Southwick on her remarkable 101st birthday!

Althea, now one of our oldest residents, was surrounded by an abundance of friends and family and even caught the attention of the local news station WTAP. The festivities were brimming with cherished memories, contagious laughter, and an outpouring of love from both family and staff, many of whom affectionately call Althea their Granny.



Althea's secret to a long and fulfilling life, as she graciously shared, is to always wear a smile and embrace love for everyone. Known for her adventurous spirit, Althea, at the sprightly age of 91, indulged her daredevil side by swimming with dolphins and parasailing during a vacation in Mexico.
