Celebrating the Heart of Healthcare: CNAs
June 26, 2025
June 12-18 is CNA Week. Certified Nursing Assistants are the backbone of patient care- compassionate, dedicated, and often the first to respond to a call for help. Former resident, R.N. stated,
“I really appreciate the quick response if I needed help.” Whether it's offering a warm smile, assisting with daily tasks, or providing emotional support, CNAs are there through it all.
CNAs are more than just caregivers. They are the comforting presence during vulnerable moments, the helping hand that brings dignity and respect to those in need. Their hard work, empathy, and resilience make a world of difference every single day. From assisting with daily tasks to providing emotional support, their work is personal, hands-on, and deeply human.
At Waterview Pointe, CNAs are the heartbeat of everything we do. They build real relationships with residents and their families learning personal preferences, noticing subtle changes in health, and offering comfort in a moment of uncertainty. J. Casto stated,
“I couldn’t ask for better aides on my floor. I have gotten to know them and they are really good.” Their presence brings not only physical care, but also dignity and peace of mind.
The role of a CNA demands compassion, patience, and strength. The family of a former resident stated,
“Staff is always kind and nice. I feel like they actually care about my mother when they enter her room.” It is not easy work- but it is incredibly meaningful. Waterview Pointe is proud to work alongside these dedicated professionals who pour their hearts into every shift.
Every hug, every kind word, every small act of care has a lasting impact. We honor and thank our CNAs for being the steady hands and caring hearts that keep our mission alive.
